Ok guys this thread is called Tripple car project on XMF but I changed the name for this since the third body may be going soon through XMF sorry if you see pictures on the third car, it has just been copied and pasted. Hopefully theres no extra bitz.
Thanks Shallows
Ok this project is all about some car bodies that I got for $12 NZD there were three bodies inside this package they were all originally just plain pull back cars but I decided to take them apart and see what these bodies offered. I allready know that I need to get some chassi spacers to make these fit my chassi but ill be doing that next week when I do my next order from XI. I need some help finding what these bodies actualy are I know one is a Peugeot 206 from a WRC 03 game I had on my ps2. These bodies were pretty stickered up but I have delt with that apart from one of them.
On the Peugeot I plan on making it into a rally car and this is a good car because the black window inside thing just clipped out, the lights got pushed out like xmod lights and already have holes for light system. I have an interior that im going to make fit into this Peugeot too.
The truck I am going to slam onto the chassi and it originally had no becover but a bed. I had to cut out the bed so i could fit the chassi in and make room for the motor. I am going to make a bedcover for this out of styrene.
Last of all is this car thing is too wide but I plan on using it as a airbrush test for a new style of airbrushing im going to try. The reason im not fitting it to the chassi is because it is too wide.
Here are the picks of the cars:
Peugeot 206

This truck: (please help me decide what it is)

And last of all the car thing: (help me decide what it is also)

Thanks for reading this comments are welcome but to add so I dont get any of them. This chassi is not going to be changed apart from spacers and some RS upgrades. All body customisation and modification ideas are welcome. I also have yet to decide on paint for the 2 cars and truck. Oh and excuse me for my dodgy pic resizin I did it myself since photo bucket was acting up with resizing.
Thanks Shallows
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok the Truck is a Lincoln Black and well it has to be black now lol ::::) I have verified this by looking at the back and front of the truck. Oh and heres what Iplan to be doing.
http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii92/Shallows/LincolnBack.gif
Lol bit more hinges or I will just follow gearguys paper clip/ styrene tut. Oh and noturday or whoever said it I can make the black stained wood with balsa wood just stain the balsa wood. I have seen a tut not on any xmod site on how to do it and make it real nice.
Ok still no luck with the car yet I verified all the cars you mentioned but the back was different on all of them. Front was correct though. Heres a picture of the back.

Last of all now heres the projects updates:
The truck with the gaping hole puttied and a bed cover made out of i think 1millimetre styrene. Do you think I should go smaller:confused2: . Oh and the putty and bedcover need a bit more sanding.
http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii92/Shallows/TruckEtc.png
And the Peugeot I covered up two of the holes and I plan on making a nice roof scoop. And since the hole is already there well hooray for air I guess. the grillish area still needs sanding since I had to stop and glue a bit back on last night. Here are the pictures:

---------------------------------------------------------------
Well Im trying to make an update everyday bummer double post. Here it is I have worked on a scoop for the car, took me a while I didnt like it at first but it has grown on me, it will look real good once I have painted it. Heres the Pictures of the scoop, I will be getting some alluminium mesh either of XI or from my LHS depending on which will take longer and depending on the size I can get it in. But I think ill probably end up getting it from XI. I have also found me some very grippy tires of a model. I have tested them on a smooth concreat floor and the give my car a lot more torque and grip on this surface. In the picture I have of them the rims are not the ones I will be using for the Peugeot there just rims to show you the thickness etc. They make an original 1:28th Xmod Car slammed and theres no interfarence with the wheel walls or whatever there called with the peugeot It makes it look like a normal xmods wheel since the wheel walls are large, saves me buying "bigger" rims. Well heres the pictures. Oh and I also cleaned up the grill area. Used some superglue to help reinforce it the superglue container said it would bind my eyelids  . I will probably reinforce it more with some styrene.
Made it so the scoop looks like its actually part of the body with some Tamiya Putty. It has been sanded a lot more after this picture was taken.

http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii92/Shallows/Skills.png
And then cut and paste and reglue and extra putty:
http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii92/Shallows/BackTogether.png
Its better still steep but I like it.
I Have FINE weather today it dosen't look like its gonna rain the sky is blue so im doing a lot of painting today. Will edit this post once I have painted them.
The Lincoln Blackwood has done nothing recently I am thinking of not even hinging it and just glueing it down but I am thinking of cutting out the front grill before I paint, Im going into my LHS today and I will pick up my alluminium mesh for the grills.
Thanks Shallows
EDIT:
Well turns out never got around to painting today because I thought about more stuff to do to the body of the cars
Well I cut out the grill on the truck im going to have straitght lines for the mesh (might be home made and the area is a lot cleaner now too)
http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii92/Shallows/grillonblackwood.png
I also found these incy wincy gaps where holes should be on the Peugeot so I cut them out (still got some sanding to go)
http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii92/Shallows/holesinhood.png
Oh and I also sealed the Lincoln Blackwoods Coffin Lid (In this pic it has not had as far sanding and cutting wise as it is now)
http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii92/Shallows/CoffinPutty.png
And to add to the Licoln Blackwood still to come is a surfboard with a roof rack and a cool blue set of flames along the coffin and sides/hood.
Thanks Shallows
--------------------------------------------------------------------

I have a minor update *I could get this done with the fine weather left before it got dark* Its the surfboard :halo: that will be going ontop of the Licolnblack. I have changed my mind for the trucks flame colour it is now going to be yellow the reason is that Im weird in the way I like everything to contrast or look good when matching things together *dont gimmie stick about it or im going to kill you:halo: * hope you like it enjoy.
Made with balsa wood my friends I couldnt resist giving it a go I think it turned out well. I also curved it with water *magic ::::) *
Try number 1 ended in faliure as you can see I am almighty strong :)
http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii92/Shallows/BrokenBoard.png
