Well, this is my building thread. i already got the chassis lengthened. now i need to get it mounted, then painted.... then the detail. anyways i also need some help in the paint. should i do it several stripes of bright color with the Camaro stripes, metallic blue with white stripes, or a "Summer of love" paintjob, which would be metallic blue with the stripes, then do brushwork or peace signs and etc...

anyways, my car so far!

is that aluminuim foil glued to the spacer?

no. its thin sheetmetal. i screwed it to the spacer, but the glue is just for extra support.

that will work very well. Ive never seen it done that way b4. most people use plastic

UPDATE!

I mounted the body, and got the chassis running. i had to slightely clip the fenders though. anyways, here come the pics!! i may upload a video too!

Update!!!

I got the body painted, detailed, and decaled. i also added the lights and an antennae. all i need to do is finish the interior and do the "hippy drawings" on the cars side.

Are you going to make the headlights more realistic ?? They just look like 2 LED's stuck the the headlight, maybe put some plastic headlight covers over them.

The paint looks pretty ggood, though your doing the "hippy" drawings on the side, it might look a lil' lame. I just know that anything under a stock Camaro is not good.

well my dad tried to cut the headlight spacers out, so i may try to cover them up with something.... dont know yet though.

and the drawings are a debate of mine. this competition is "Summer of the '69's", and Woodstock was in the summer of 1969, so its a debate of mine.
