Hey guys, heres my entry for this comp. Looks like Bondo and I are going mano y mano here, seeing as we decided on the same model choice. I'm about two hours into it, so far, Ive got a bit of the interior cut and fit, the rear is mounted. I've got some big plans for this thing, and I'm going to make it as detailed as I possibly can. Enough talk, heres some teaser pics:

Yeah, the yellow is just the molding color. Im thinking the final product will either be blue or white. I want it to be a factory matching color, and these cars only came in four colors: white, blue, yellow and orange.

Well, I hear Bondo is doing yellow, and I dont want mine and his to look the same, it would look like we copied each other.

Slight update:
A few small things have been done: interior almost done, motor wires hidden, both mountings finished, spoiler done (but not pictured), and a few other things.

Looks so much cleaner after those motor wires have been tucked away:

The yellow is just the molding color. I think final will be orange with black interior, some body parts will be flat black with some chrome trim around the windows.

lookin good man.
coincidently, my shell is in the same color now;)....lol
you got lucky with the front mount.the front clip of my model is a 4-piece(6 if you include the styrene and front spoiler).
it looks like you has a solid radiator to cut into......lucky....:bigwink:
that thing got a hood scoop or are you gonna have a stack popping through the hood?

Yeah, It looks good in yellow, but I think Im gonna go orange. Every muscle car looks good in orange, and its a stock color, which is what Im going for.
The front clip on this thing is three different pieces, all different colors too. Stupid complexities, lol. I actually had to add a piece to the radiator, it was too short.
Im using the stock scoop, its just not on yet because Im painting it separate from the body.
