well here in my neck of the woods most trucks get lifted and have some huge tires thrown under them. here is 4 of my xmods, dodge still just mock set up. from left to right, Indian giver ( my newest addition), then the dodge ram, the 4 runner crawler, and last bust not least my crawler off road titan.

i got my airbrush today. she's a beauty
bottom feed, dual action, internal mix. come with i thought 3 tips but i am only seeing 2. shes a beauty though, pics below.
while i am waiting for the wife to get home so i can go play with the airbrush i decided to dust off the collection and shoot some pics with the ones i have picked up since the last group shot. let's just say i didn't think i was going to have enough counter space. but they all fit in there. i may have 1 more bumblebee body somewhere but i'm not digging around tonight. some people call it an obsession i call it an enjoyable hobby. well enough talk here's some pics.

lancer man gave me a link to a site that carries air brush stencils. so i picked up one of them in 3 different sizes. they showed up today. so i snapped some pictures. i will be getting some other ones to. these are just the start. these things are very detailed.

well 1 of the last 4 packages i have coming my way is here. only one more containing bodies though. im sure some of you saw i recently purchased some things from goodfellaz. and here's some pics. got a micro t receiver, bad fet i think he said. and he hooked me up with a micro t pinion. now i have something to match up to the brushless motor. its going to be simple to adapt this on the evo spur gear. and i bought 2 bodies, a subaru, and a 65 stang.

well i have a bunch of parts and bodies on their way and they are trickling in. here's my prizes from the january cotm. se 180 high torque motor, and a set of subaru rims. seeings as i have done many different types of conversions on the evo chassis, and the truck chassis i think i am going to have one on a gen 1 chassis. so once i complete a few of the current projects i am going to start on that beast.

and there is one chassis on its way to goodfellaz to get fitted for a van :).
i might throw some parts together to get some more chassis. so for the time being 43 complete cars
and 36 bodies. i sold some cars and bodies off over last weekend. so the toal now is 79 bodies and 43 chassis. for now anyway :)



alright, im going to get back to painting tomorrow, so until then i have had to keep myself busy. with all the things i sold i had some extra cash and decided i would try to get a couple bodies in colors i didnt have yet.
so between bst threads and ebay i have got a couple things, and some more on their way.

heres a model i am planning on using here shortly. and a black skyline, it came with a kit, but i like how this looks, and she looks good sitting next to her yellow sister.

thanks, yeah when i started out i just had a plastic tub with several starter kit boxes for my parts. then i got man tackle box organizers. now i have that cabinet and a decent sized tackle box for my things. i get a pic of the tackle box. it wasn't that expensive but it works great

2x3 stack, egr can, an arm i picked up recently, not sure on the turns but i know its low turn, 12-23 gearing, rwd, iso magnets.

i believe its one of the ones you sold me. i have run it for a little while and the fets never really got hot at all. but i wanted a dyno queen motor anyway. i'm still going to try it with lithium to see what kind of results i can get:)

seems like every time i clean it, it just gets put in the mud again. i clean chassis internals. but gave up on the body staying clean.

Nice collection, i have a theory though... You buy all the barricades for their chassis and probably just keep the bodies cause you dont have the heart to throw them out.

I used to do the same thing when all my RS's had skylines left only...

EDIT: and the body lift on that hummer is too high for those tires...

yeah thats the radline modified motor, the endbell on it is bigger so you do have to grind down part of the motor cradle to run it. but its worth it.

zip ties hold them in. and when i put them in i did loosen the top board support and put them in.

ohh ok. i was going to put the corvette body on this one and it wasn't sitting correctly on it and i thought that is what was causing it to sit wrong. so i ground it down some. didnt fix the problem. dont know what actually was causing it. so i put the subbie on it.

gravity holds it on, because of where the axles are on the trailer most of the weight is in front of them. i have drove it over many different terrains in my house and drivway and had it only pop off 1 time empty because the trailer caught something and lifted. never had it pop off loaded.
the ball is from my local hobby shop. its a ball connector for throttle linkage or servo linkage

i know i have stripped down 3 evo cars and 2 evo trucks long time ago for spare parts. but i build quite a few rollers oif each gen of cars and truck. as for boards i have another drawer with electronic stuff in it. but i don't go through that many boards any more. and worse case scenerio i can rob a board from a car that i don't drive if needed.

well here's the gen 1 cars. 8 working 1 strict roller, and 1 needs minor work, just havent done it. o yeah and under the subaru is the chassis that the 180 motor is going in.. started work on it.

i might throw some parts together to get some more chassis. so for the time being 43 complete cars
and 36 bodies. i sold some cars and bodies off over last weekend. so the toal now is 79 bodies and 43 chassis. for now anyway :)

alright, im going to get back to painting tomorrow, so until then i have had to keep myself busy. with all the things i sold i had some extra cash and decided i would try to get a couple bodies in colors i didnt have yet.
so between bst threads and ebay i have got a couple things, and some more on their way.

heres a model i am planning on using here shortly. and a black skyline, it came with a kit, but i like how this looks, and she looks good sitting next to her yellow sister.

thanks, as for the civic, i have 2 blue ones now, so i am going to keep the best one mint and throw it on the shelf, and paint the other one. not sure on what yet though, i have some paint i've been wanting to try out, so we will see if that goes on here.

thats actually not alluminum its just the plastic parts painted :bigwink: i was hard to let that go....hahah but zippo's a good guy and a icant wait to see what happens with it!

Maybe a bit of light dremel work or filing around those red tabs take a bit off to see if you can get them fitting a little better....

finally got my mint g35, and i took advantage of the sale, and got a new gtr and another vette, (not pictured, its the wife's and she's working on putting it together.)
and i found these 1/32 tamiya toys at the hs. they're 4wd and pretty cool. i'm thinking i can rob the wheels off of it for a truck, and mount the body on a custom chassis. its an isuzu thats waiting for a paint job.

I have two of those sitting here my room too Zippo, the SRT I'm going to build regularly, then I have a R/T kit that I might make an Xmod. Let me know how the fitting goes, its a long body no doubt, its a huge car.

I'm also loving the GPM chassis, not so big on the gold, but what color are the other parts? They don't look silver, too dark.

you would lose money as xmodcanuck said. shipping is outrageous from there. i was looking at the b,x lexan bodies. under 20 bucks for the body. but almost 100 bucks to ship here.

as 123 said its a roller chassis. looking at them closer i think its gold and gunmetal. not exactly sure. i'll be able to answer that better once my other gunmetal stuff shows up.

acme stencil chassis with full red and silver alloy, 4 sets of alloy rims, a bunch of truck gpm, some car gpm, another 350z, scion, and some body kit parts and what not. also got some asc bodies, but you gotta wait to see those in the mini z gallery. i'll add them shortly. got a couple plasmadash motors, a stacked nelly, and some other misc pieces.

i got these chassis in trades and good deals. usually if you bargain hunt on ebay and look for sales from different places you can drop from 80-130 depending on how of deals you get. some of the rarer colors, black etc. you can drop 150 or more. and then it just depends on what kinda chassis plate you put under them. like the x.i. aluminum chassis were 30 bucks. and ive seen knock of stilettos as cheap as like 15 bucks on ebay. but the atomic ones are a bit higher than that.

thanks man, and you can build your collection as money makes possible. i think the escalade came off of a walmart toy or somethign like that. i got it in a misc. box i bought from someone.

well i was thinking how can i make this gold look so much better? well i went to the hardware store and picked up some screws that i found will work with the gpm screw holes. got everything installed. and also paired my gold swing arms with this also. and decided to put it on the extenda chassis

which one, the extenda chassis? it's a prototype from chris at x.i. that i aquired a while back from goodfellaz on xmf.

well, didnt get a chance this weekend to do anything really, but work and work on my truck. and it was a bad weekend, won't go into details but it was bad.

but the only good thing that happened this weekend was getting this curio cabinet. was able to fit 27 cars in it. well 22 cars and my 5 alloy or highly upgraded chassis that i have in their. once i get some standofs i'll get my nos chassis back in there.

i dont think i've gotten any new bodys since last posted, but have got some new b/ks, couple sets of slammed rims all nib (not pictured) also scored a set of cool dragons.

lol. ive heard them refered to as cooldragons since i entered the hobby. i guess once i heard them called dragon claws. either way thtey are a very nice tire.

and thanks now i just need to add some better lighting and some more shelfs and she will look even better. tyhen i can add more cars in there. since this is only part of the collection anyway. lol

lol 5. i bought indian giver from b1g, i bought wideload and pocket change from gf, traded with gf for the altezza, and i won the van in our buildoff. and actually i have his gold scion somewhere as well that was included in a trade we did. so 6.

well i bought 5 pieces of glass, and drilled some holes, added the holding pegs, and got 5 more shelfs. but, it's not enough room :( lol. there is 2 open spots, 1 of which is on the z shelf and will be filled before long, and the other is on the 2nd shelf down, because i dont know which one i actually want in there yet. sadly i see another cabinet in the future.

if you counted them you see there is 52 cars in there right now, so total capacity will be 54 cars. maybe 55 if i decide to squeeze another alloy chassis on that shelf.

i still got some more that i dont have room for in there. and i don't think i can squeeze and more in that cabinet abfter i fill those 2 spots. lol

definately keeps them dust free, main reason i wanted something like this. i bought the curio from my mom, she said she hadnt dusted it in like 18 months, and there as barely any dust in it.

definately baby safe, although i do have to clean the bottom front glass often as he likes to go up and look in there and puts his hand prints on it. :lol: its all good though, its fun watching him when i do drive them. before long he should be able to drive one as well. lol he's still growing like a weed, at his 9 month appointment he was 31 inches long and like 21 lbs or somewhere around that on his weight.

thanks man, i have grown to like that charger as well, just need to get the working photo etched butterfly kit for it at some point.

well another box showed up and my firebird was in it, yay!! lol. i need one more of these though. and i was at a rat shack yesterday and the owner just happened to be there so i asked if he had any returned xmods, (ive bought a bunch from him) and he went in the back and came back with this z06 vette, did some haggling, and got another vette. also had some upgrades discounted so i picked a few up as well (not pictured)

yeah in certain light the silver sky does look that way. a guy on another forum got one that was the same way. not sure if its the paint of what. im going to see if i can do anything about it, or just b***h about it and live with it.
lol. the white subaru is sitting in new york city, along with another fujitsubo subaru where it has been since the 4th. i have an inquiry being made into why it hasnt moved past there.

well heres some better pics of the silver skyline, the blue 350z and the dark blue 65 stang. and i also had another box show up. had some body kits i found, and a black honda integra. once my sliver integra shows up ill can cross that off my list as well.
and the body kits are 1x european subaru kit, 2 x white honda nsx, 2 x silver honda integra, and 2x regular 350z. alright enough talk heres some pics.

no its a 2s2p setup. aaa liths were usually used this way since they had a low mah rating.
