Im determined to paint my xmods' lower deck front and back decks too, to go with my newly painted Z. Im just wondering if you guys think this is an ok idea? THanks

I think that it would look really good. In a matter of fact I never even thought of that . Make sure you strip down your chassis. Cause I saw one in this gallery and the kid painted the whole thing without taking anything out. It looked like crap.

yeah i took everything off already sanded it just to make sure itll come out nice i just needed your guys opinion, thanks

Go for it, just let it cure for a few days (my tamiya paints were dry to the touch after a couple hours, but they still flaked off easily and only hardened up after about a week).

wut color is your Z cuz that wud depend wut color ur going to paint the chassis but if its a color not a shade i think u shud make the chassis silver or black or white with sum details the same color as the body like the on off switch and such

My z is right now sanded waiting to be painted white. So im going with black red or white on the chassis and decks

Try the Tamiya PS Spray paints. The PS's are a laquer based paint. And after a couple of hours they're okay. But for me. I'm on the safe side. Left my Tamiya Mini 4WD to fully-cure for like 2 days. Luckily I had a spare FM-Chassis-style Body. but the chassis got dirty. I've yet to clean it. But yeah. The "PS" paints by Tamiya are great. Even though I drive for Team Associated, Tamiya comes right after! LOL!

i dont see the point of painting your chassis unless your just going to set your car on a shelf and not run it
