Ok I have seen that a handful of people here have a micro of some sort whether it be a micro t, dt, baja, or raminator. I have Lots of experience with micro's. I have a Micro-T myself. For some of you new to them here is a list of you first recommended ups:

1. Threaded Axles- they are just essensial. They are about $10 from killerhobbies.

2. Ceramic Bearings- I recommend the Losi ones.

3. Losi Lipo- For $40 you get a Lipo and charger. It will greatly increase your speed. On a side note, they also wear down the tranny fairly quick.

4. Atomic BB- Great motor for about $13 from thetoyz.

5. Suspension- the 3Racing oil shocks are phenomenal. I don't recomend the GPM shocks, they are cheap but they are not that great.

6. Wheels/Tires- They are mostly for show and they don't do a ton at this scale. I prefer the 3Racing. They are the biggest and look sweet. I am still waiting for mine from a certain someone:dodgy:

Thats about all you really need.

Some recommended products/sites to buy from are:

1. Killer Hobbies- Cheap shipping, awesome service.
2. The Toyz- Good stuff, prices are a little on the high side.
3. Ebay.
4. 3Racing seems to be the best products out there and I Highly recomend them.

STAY AWAY FROM HOT RACING!!!! They have cheap crap, and they tend to bend and are not always made to fit right.

I am a moderator at Microtforum (great site for help) and if you need any help PM me there, or here.

losi doesn't have ceramic bearings they have ball bearings i am going to get some ceramic bearings from xi along with a bb motor. Then eventually moving onto lipo, any replacement parts. Mine dt is stock except for threaded axles. And i am trying to tune it correctly. I can get the slipper right, but it is good for now.

I haven't seen you on the micro t forum? is your name different?

its "thewheelyking" Yea my mistake on the losi bearings. I still highly recommend you buy from Killerhobbies.com everything comes quick and cheap. Deff get the BB, and the Lipo. You will have atleast a 30mph micro. Also, I have a integy 49t aluminum slipper. Too bad my Micro-T is messed and I can't try all my new stuff out:(

Atomic BB is the Best upgrade seeing as the stocker wont last for 2 days of use...

Next bets is the Threaded axels...

THe first upgrade i got was the threaded axles. One you get those, you can then tune the car, slipper, gears, bearings and such. My stock motor is still going strong. 2 weeks and i use it 2-4 times a day.

Really ive had three trucks and on two of them the stockers gave out on me within a week and a half...

The third one i didnt even run it without putting the BB on it...

my stock motor is fine, I still think that Threaded axles are a must. Lipo's are my favorite upgrade.

what? You can leave the lipo in the car when you charge it if thats what your asking. you can leave it in when its not being used, but Unplug it from the esc.

There is always a chance, but I have not heard of any exploding. Always take care of any batteries, Especially Lithium. The charger has a LED that turns green when its done. Always periodically check though. Just use common sense and all should be good.

You can use Xmod springs in them. Its better than buying the Losi or other springs.

its a VL Vlocity (they retail for $130 new) and it has a Gangstar chip (retail for $30 new) Plus I don't use it, and I have been trying to sell it and no luck. I will use the hopper more than I would the Micro-t.

Nice list but I disagree with 1 thing. BL is better than the BB, but if you are broke, get the BB. The BL motor with a LiPo gives you killer run times. Threaded axles are a must!

I hate to bring up an old thread, and i'm fully aware that the last post was like four months ago , but i think most would prefer that i do this instead of opening up another thread, and wasting it, i'm especialy reluctant, b/c my question is so noob (and i already think the answer is no), but here i go....

Is there any way to make a four wheel drive/all wheel drive micro-t?

(If any members of authority here ie. moderators, super moderators, aministrator etc. thinks this is wrong, i apologize, and ask that you fix the situation, i will cooperate to the full extent...)
