Hey guys,
I haven't been making any new model project at the moment so i'm just upgrading my current fleet. I'm starting off with 2 of my stock cars and making them into sleepers - one will be a drifter and the other will be a racer.

Here's the pics of the drifter - this one is completed already btw:

Upgrades for the Subaru drifter are:
Switchblade chassis
Lithum battery pack
S2 red 9t motor
AWD kit
rear mono-shock
metal ball bearings
custom Blue headlights on CLL
atomic drift tires
custom modified mini-z Advan rims
black metal lug nuts
(hopefully i'll add some alloy parts to this one soon)

And now here's the Evo VIII racer - still working on this one:

Upgrades on the Evo VIII are:
Complete alloy chassis (Switchblade chassis with full alloy pieces)
Lithium battery pack
2x2 FETs stack on pro evo board
AWD
custom mini-z rims with mini-z threaded tires
custom UV headlights on CLL

I'll update you guys on this one as soon as i'm finished with the electronic part.

Thanks for watching guys!

Thanks. the rims are mini-z rims that I modified to fit the xmod hubs and the evo chassis I got in a trade - the rest is all from Ebay.

Thanks bro. I did get the board off ebay and it works fine for me - i had it for about a month too sitting around. I love the rims on the evo so much that I think I'll get another set with some different offsets for the rear soon.

I just add the board on the evo so as sson as I test it i'll get some pics to post guys.

How did you mount the mini-z rims? Oh and if I were you, I would put metal gears on the evo if liths are going to b put on. Can't wait to see the Evo done :D!

I still need like 4 more alloy parts to actually complete the evo - the front and rear diffs, the gear cover, and the front ally dogbones - once i get thoswe it'll be completely alloyed out.

Oh yeah, I just used a dremel to get rims to fit - it's kinda risky to do but if you take your time you can get it done in about 3 mins or so.:bigwink:

Jeez, there are two shiny hunks of cash. :o

They look good. Sorta wish you'd do a racer body and a drifter body style for them both to go with the chassis, but seems you've been "bodied out." :p

You want to share? I'll love you.

I love the Evo's chassis more then the Subbie's. Just looks more sexy. Have fun with this build!

Was it hard to make the rims fit on the xmod? I might try it...
I was just wondering, 'Cause that's alot of alloy! Great projects! They look awesome!

Oh, where did you get those Subbie bodies?

I just wiped the drool off of my lower lip, those things are **** sexy! I say paint the Subbie silver. I love the chassis on the Lancer, and the wheels fit it perfectly. X, you need to post a tut showing how to convert the Mini-Z wheels!

i really, really like the wheels on the subie. if you feel like painting it, try a nice military matte green, you'd think it would look funny, but the colors work really well together. I saw a JDM silvia painted that color with red wheels and it looked really cool.

I personally think you aught to drive the Fujitsu Subi just to scare the collectors

Nice project so far man

LOL - I'm kinda tires of making custom bodies but I got alot of xmods bodies so I might end up painting some and keeping some stock clean.

Thanks bro, and I think you'll have to do with eyecandy for now - these are staying in my personnal collection for now.

It wasn't hard - it just takes a few minutes and some patience with a dremel. I got those Subbies off Ebay and somewhere else (I can't remember) but I have 4 of them atm.;)

lol - thanks dude. The Z rims conversion isn't hard but i'm keeping that one as a secret for now:D

I have a few alloy rims to choose from but i'll buy a few other colors so that I can have a wider selection in colors to pick from:bigwink:

Nice project so far man

LOL - I would but I don't have anyone to race against around my area  .

Thanks for the comments guys, I finished the Evo VIII already but I can't log onto photobucket for some strange reason so I can't post the pics yet.

As soon as i can figure out what's wrong i'll get those pics up for you guys.

It's RWD for now since the plastic front dogbones can't keep up with the liths -lol - i'll get a few more alloy parts for this one soon so there will be more updates to come.

If you mean the servo motor - then it's for the steering set-up :bigwink:

I had ordered a Dyno so as soon as I get it i'll post the vids up of how much it's clocking on speed for both of them.

@xmdrifter - I got it off an old Evo VIII front bumper.

LOL - that happens to me sometimes too. I do buy some parts from XI but most of my stuff are from online stores or Ebay.

Any updates X? You mind getting some pics of the underside of the Subbie? Just curious how the stilietto looks with the stock heatsink.

No updates yet, I'm waiting on a new Dyno to come in the mail so that I can test them out on it. I still need some alloy front dogbones for the evo also - the plastic ones don't work with the setup I have -lol.

I don't have any pics of the underside fro the Subbie but it doesn't have the stock heatsink on it - all I have is the reddish paper like part on it so that the electronics don't touch the botton of the chassis by chance.
