I'm just testing out some putty here, getting used to it. So, I somewhat lowered the front lip of the pretty high Scion tC.

At about 3.5 mm off the ground, it's pretty **** low. A bit too low.

There's nothing much else going into this. Just a few more bits of putty to fix a few minor things, some primer, and it's going in for a beating.

Beginner... Hah, it looks great. I think you should continue and do some work on the side skirts and rear bumper.

very nice. i would suggest using a broken dremmel cut off wheel or a toothpick to get the putty out of the grill. Keep it up. I like.

edit: is that all putty, or is there some styrene or other material?

I would, but this is a beater body... So I didn't want to spend my time makin some side skirts and a rear bumper for this body. I have another Scion for that... :D

The bottom part is Styrene. The rest is all putty.

3 words.

No tengo dinero.

I'll probably do a styrene project once I've got a few extra dollars (like 15 or so...)

No... The only thing I'm doing is a layer of primer paint. Nothing real special. Only because it's going onto my beater body (It's origianlly part of my beater body...)

Got it smoothed down.

I accidentally dropped the body, so the whole thing fell off. I super-glued it back on so it'll be ready for primer soon.

Very nice work. Once the putty is shiny you know it is ready for paint, unless there is imperfections that you can easily see. Can't wait for the primer. One even color for the whole car lets you really see the putty work.

200 then 600 then 1500.

No... I'd do one, but it's by beater body. I don't want to build a whole body kit only to have it whacked off by some random stick.
