I have some difficult paintjobs planned for two trucks, the Titan and F-150.

I started by slamming the F-150 on a car chassis. It's mounted with a custom front clip and a custom rear mounting system.

Here's the rear mounting system.

I don't have any pics of the Titan at the moment, it's just a stock body on a lifted chassis, so nothing special yet.

I still need to get paint, so it will be a while before completion.

I tested out the colors I'll be using. The pic throws the colors off a little, but it's good enough.

The lines and flames were testing out new Tamiya masking tape.

I think I'm going for silver base for both the trucks. It gives more 'pop' to the color, IMO.

Don't worry about the ghost designs in the paint, it was just testing. ;)

Well, I haven't been able to finish the F-150 yet, I need to let the paint dry before finishing the two-tone.

I was able to work on the bedcover:

That should give a pretty good idea of the final truck. :D

Sorry for the blurry pictures. I'll take better ones when it's all finished up.

On the other hand, the paint came out awesome. It's going to be sick with some polish and finishing details.

Clear and final assembly tomorrow. :)

It looks great, it came out perfect. I cant really see the deatails of the pictures, because its blurry. Hope it comes out perfect with the rest of the stuff you have to do with it.

It's fine; if someone's being helped out, it's okay by me. :D

The Titan still needs a scheme, if anyone has any ideas, let me know!

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. :D

you might have to do some trimming on the mustang to make them fit

Lancer_Man

They will fit on a Mustang, but a great deal of shaving has to be done.

Also, they are a little too big for a car, IMO, but you can try it. ;)

how do you lower them, do you just get a truck body and put it on a car chassis and your done?
