i came across this in the UK and thought this might help. THIS IS NOT MY WORK!!!!!!!
MonoShock Tutorial:
The aim of this tutorial is to convert the rear suspension of you Xmod car to a Monoshock suspension! Pictures coming Very soon! (my bad -FxN)

Step 1:

Gather this list of things I used for making my monoshock:
1.2 Shocks, I recommend attempting this with spares first – if you installed the suspension upgrade then you’ll have a few lying around. Note – you cant use the Metal GPM ones, unless you have the tools for cutting and fixing the alloy,

2.A Knife, or some hobby blade or sharp scissors,

3.Needle Nose Pliers,

4.Strong glue/plastic epoxy or a lighter,

5.Sand paper or hobby file.

Step 2

Take your shocks apart. And keep an eye on the springs! I lose them a lot. I like to put all the parts into a cup or container so I don’t lose them.

Step 3

You will see in the pile of you unassembled shocks, a cross scaped piece. This was the part that the pin went into the bottom plastic holder, and NOT the hole end which was for a screw. Take this and Cut of the Smallest Side, and file/sand it smooth. Looking at it from the side you should have a T–shaped piece of plastic.

Step 4

Now I want you to find the other end of a shock. You need to cut this one right down to the ‘rim’ just before the hole where the screw goes.

Step 5
Now you have got to Glue, Stick, or melt together these two parts – GLUEING is a lot easier than melting, but it may not be as strong. It depends how well you do it. You should now have something that slightly resembles a table tennis bat but with a hole in the paddle part and a thin handle. I guess you could also describe it to look like the EGYPTIAN Hieroglyph for ‘Life’ or the female symbol – ‘?’

Step 6

Re assemble your shocks with a spring and another REGULAR end with a hole for a screw.

Step 7

Screw each hole to the arms and watch the wonder of a MONO–SHOCK!

This revised version is better as it means you don’t have to buy anything extra! You can use the stock 2 shocks that come on your mod.
I hope this helps
