Automotive Paint Question

does anyone know the ratio for automotive paint to be able to use in a airbrush? i have been told 3:1 but im unsure. can some one help?

i dont know what kind it is off the top of my head, it was custom mixed by my bro so i dont know the brand, it is the base color, and thats all i know about it right now
