I'm ordering a Subaru STI off Ebay. So hopefully that'll be coming in soon!

Welcome to the site...

Enjoy your time on here and just let us know if we can help you with anything once you have your STI, pretty everyone on here has a wealth of knowledge so giving you suggestions of what to do next won't be a problem.... plus you picked a great car to work with, the STI has loads of room under the shell for mods and with the bodykit upgrade you can pull something pretty sweet off, for example:

If you decide you like the hobby, Kyosho offers different bodystyles/makes of subaru that are the same size as xmods and can be adapted to fit the chassis.

Is your chassis on the Subbie a Gen 1 or EVO? If you mentioned it already I must've skipped over it.

If it's Gen 1, I have some parts, but no upgrades. Upgrades for a Gen 1 are pretty hard to come by for a good price anymore, if it's an EVO your world will be alot easier. You should be able to get most of the parts and help that you need from here.
