View Full Version : what color should i paint my supra

i got a new xmod the other day its a black skyline and i dont want 2 mess w/ the body just incase it burns up like my last 1 so i was wondering what color i should paint my old supra body its white im thinking gloss blue or gloss black if ne1 has any suggestions they would be greatly appreaciated

Boyd's Sunburst Orange Pearl. Clean it really well and buff it lightly, mask off the windows, lights, etc. and spray two or three light coats. Over white it looks great.

i would do that but if i did it would look like sumbody elses and i want it 2 look different then everybodys like every1 painted it a type of orange and put fast and furious decals on it

All black with a tribal design or 2 pin stripes in hott pink. wanted 2 be different,,,

OK, orange is out then. You like dark colors, Testors Black and Blue Pearl is a good second choice. Depending on what color you put under it will make it lighter/darker.

thanks 4 the suggestions but i thought about it and im gonna go w/ a cameleon color blue 2 black or ill do the black w/ the pink stripes

hey is that black and blue pearl one color ? because i got my 350z / with t tops and i wanna paint it like a nice pimp color or like if the blue pearl is its own color paint body in blue pearl and have hood spoiler skirts and fenders in black

The Black and Blue Pearl is a Testors color, if you put it over a solid color, like light bule, it makes it a lighter tint, the darker the base coat the darker the finished color. It's a very thick paint though, do it in thin fogged coats a few hours apart.
