i need help

i accidently cut a line about ___ that long in my hood and it cut in to it not thru it but thru the paint and into it. i was tryin to cut a square so i could put sum screen under the square and make it look meshy and i gave my car t tops and that came out good. I am repainting this car anyway but wont that big cut make it look like Sh_t?

if its a scratch in paint sand it like crazy then paint if it is a cut in the hood get a body kit and get a hood or glue something think plastic on there and sand it until it looks natural then paint
