alright, so i havnt touched my x-trucks in a while since i've been working on the z and the chevelle, but when i woke up this morning i got this wild hair to do a battery relocation on my avalanche x-truck and just went for it. i thought it would be like a 10-20 min job, but i decided to basically take everything that was on the hummer and swap it onto the avalanche (including wheels and tires) since the hummer already had the battery relocation done and the power switch delete that's almost mandatory afterwards.
sounds easy enough right? just take apart put back together on opposite chassis'. well somewhere along the way i messed up on the Av chassis and couldnt get it back together for a while. figured that out then got it all put back together the right way....then the driveshaft gear decides to slip in the front end so i basically have 2wd. took me forever to figure that out but i think its fixed now (not 100% sure). the hummer went back together without a problem tho.
after working on this for pretty much all day this is what i ended up with.
1.) a hummer that now needs some new tires

2.) one SICK Avalanche

sadly, i never even did the relocation for the chassis the hummer is on now, it doesnt even have a battery pack at the moment haha. i'll get to that eventually
this means no more blue glow on the Av, but with the way it looks now i think i can live with that haha.
