heres something i found at rs today
7 color l.e.d.s

i have not figured out how to make it work yet but it would be cool on someones next project

keep us posted on what youre planning on doing with them...
they could make some cool police lights if you can get them to flash blue and red!!!

the planes with the l.e.d.s are i have no planes for themi have all kinds or lights switches and other watchamadinkies that i will never use in anything but i have them just in case

Looks really cool, tell us how it works later.

as of right now i can get it to blink a few colors but it needs a bored and power sources to make it work right

at the one i go to there are a bunch of rows of drawer with different parts in each one there is one marked with L.E.D. on it

i think i know how they work! the middle lead is always used and depending on which color you want you apply voltage to either of the other ends, it is a light emitting diode (led)...keep in mind its a diode so the battery has to be connected with the correct polarities, fromt his pic i cannot ell whi is which...what colors does it blink?

it blinks several colors at a time to make the seven colors but all it has is red, blue, and green but i cant tell you the colors it blinks. (kinda hard to see after i look at it)

i figured it out last night right before i posted it i just cant get them to work properly with out some sort of computer bored

i think they were 1.99-2.99 for 2

they dont work with a battery? thats too bad, go into to a store where they sell just electronic components, maybe rs but the almost know nothing, any ways yeah, go into a place or call 'em up and ask

they work with 2 AAs but to make them function like it was ment to i need a pc bored (i have one somewhere) plus a bunch of components

nothing right now they might work there way into one of my future projects
