I painted my RSX with red/blue dupli-color paint from autozone, it turned out awesome exept for the spoiler and rear bumper. They have these tiny little cracks In them. Whats wrong with them? I will post pics when and if I can find my usb cord.

those tiny cracks are a reaction due to it being dirty or having some sort of chemical on them. your best bet is to go ahead and sand them down again, clean them really well with some kind of detergent and respray.

edit: also, if you're using duplicolor basecoat make sure you're using their primer and clearcoat too, sometimes if you mix different paint brands with others they'll react.

Thanks for the help, I painted the body really well but I kinda rushed the body kit.

edit: it came with everything in 1 box, primer, paint, and clear.

Oh and that color, IDK its some kind of spray paint by rustoleum, but yeah it looks good.

Okay. How could a FWD car (In real life) drift? it'll be cool, but be careful. The Rice Police may come knocking.

Im not going to use it, I sat the shell in place and it does look too rice, but this car can drift pretty good, look at this thread:http://www.xmodsource.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12307

Suicide and I both will tell you.

Okay, me first.
My chassis came, I thought it was sick.
I whipped up AM's tut, then started building the standoffs.

They were too small, the hex nuts stripped, the servo standoffs were too short, so I had to use the motor screew on one side.

Look at Xmodifier's G35, That was my chassis I gave to him, I had to use electric tape to make it stable.

Same deal, B1Gdude said he had to use stock screws.
These ebay people are money hungry, make your own chassis with a dremel or side nippers and aluminum!

I used side nippers because my dremel cutting wheel snapped in 2 peices, but hey it's nice. lol:nod:

Where could I get some thin aluminum at?
One more thing, is there a way that I can mount my stock battery holders on a custom chassis?
Could you give some pics of yours BLT?

For that HC hobbies one you should use stick tape, I bought one, it's crap on the sides, buy some super mount tape at your RS.

Yeah, hold up bro, it looks like crap but hey it'll work.

The chassis I bought from them was a completely stock one, just like the original, the only reason I bought a new one was because If I mess up on painting I will have a spare.
