hello,

i am currently working on my only xmod that i have (bought it a long time ago and recently had the time to work on it). It was a red supra. i painted it "maui blue" and bought a white body kit. the paint job only took me less than 1 hour to do ( so i might of done it wrong). i don't know if i want to apply a cc to the body because i don't plan to hit anything with it.

my upgrades to the chassis so far are:
rs stage 2 red motor
rs heat sink upgrade
awd upgrade
gpm aluminum driveshaft
gpm aluminum cup joint shaft - rear
gpm aluminum upper deck front and rear
gpm aluminum tie-rod (minor adjustments)
gpm aluminum rear axle shafts
aluminum wheels

Futher plans:
full gpm parts (need to find a place that sells them all)
metal wheel nuts (because the plastic ones suck...)
spider v3 (if i could find one...)
full 18 ga wire (or speaker wire)
drift equivilent motor (but still has speed) (thinking about a size 180 for some reason)

I would appreciate any help i could get to finish this project

Here are some pic that i couldn't upload to this site (because i don't know how....)

Really nice shade of blue, the white does look a bit stark against it tho. If you are determined on a two-tone kit, maybe matt black would be the best looking solution.

Oh, wow, that's nice looking.

I'd recommend painting the BK parts...Just my opinion.

Gook masking and smooth paint! :D

Get GPM off RCXMINI.
They will always have my loyalty.
Also, just get stacked FETS.
V3 is a waste in an xmod.

I would recomend installing a tight turn kit if you have not already all it is is 2 resistors that go on two wires going to pot on the servo or atomicmods sells two tiny resistors that go on the board it really helps you get more out of a gen one chassis.

*Update* made a locked diff and mono shock, will upload pics soon. still looking for a color for the bk, so if anyone has a good idea for the color i would like to hear some opinions. also i started on upgrading my wires (only red and black) by cutting the lengths and tinning them (if thats the right term...never soldered before), might get that done in a week or so, then i will move on to getting full gpm and a new motor.

i found some arosol cameleon paint that i am thinking about for the bk or maybe some paint that makes gives a mirror like appearance.
