For all the EVO models, excluding the truck, just use LiPo.
It's a much easier install.

Trust me, if you screw up your chassis in the process, you're screwed.:bigwink:
Plus, if you make a bottom cover, you can just not stick tape the lipos to the chassis, and to charge or store them, unscrew the cover, and screw the cover back on.

In case if they short/are ready to blow up, you can unscrew the cover, in contrast to ripping them off.

That's the only worry I have on my evo, cause I use super-mount tape, which might be hard to get off....O well...:lol:
Nice collection.
May I suggest, you shouldn't buy ebay lithium packs, they can't solder, fake deans, the batteries tend to be rather old.

Get someone to make them for you, and last, get a LiPo/Li-ion charger off all-battery/batteryspace/XI for the packs.:bigwink:

yes, i know, i sprayed the paint too thick and it was cold also, and i plan on resading it and re painting it, but i know it looks horrible. im thinkin about sendin it to bondo even, not sure though

i know i was going to only focus on my 2 mustangs (the 06 and 65) but then i got a new civic which i wasnt expecting at all, and after that, i looked at my trucks that were sitting around, all beat up, and thats 3 other projects, plus the cobra body, and well, then i just bought barricade today. thats more than i can really handle but im up for the challenge, lol.

I spy a bad PJ on the Titan lol. Nice Collection! How's about you beat on it like I beat on my hummer. This is not a lie, I drove it off 20 foot drops, down 20 foot steep hills, and other crap.

thnaks for all the comments guys. about the white to blue mustang, well, i was sick of looking at the god awful white paint i put on it so i scraped it all off (it was really thick) and then i painted it again. the pics make it looks horrible becuz it actually looks pretty nice in real life, it sparkles! homestar, pm me. spr, that titan is coming along real nice. i put a coat of red metallic paint on it last night, i taped off the windows this morning and ill be painting them tonite along with the tail gate handle thing, tail lie covers and headlite covers, black of corse, and the grille im going to put a chrome like spray paint on it, then clear coat the entire thing. um, about the pool, lol, its deepest spot is 8 feet, and it makes a great photo-scene for xmods, which is why i do it, i havent dropped any xmods in there... yet, so im not worried, as long as my cat doesnt come over there im fine. i try to get the pics quickly so nothing happens to my beloveds! thanks for all the comments, oh, yeah, the hummer, it was my first, i want to get rid of both of them, and the f-150, and the other trucks when i finish them, so unofficially for sale. the hummer was in good condition when i got it for christmas (not last year, year before that) but i wanted an sut project and totally gave up on it, then i put it back on my cahssis and flipped it several times til the whole back just fell off.

It looks like you only have three colors of spray paint: Metallic red, gunmetal, and blue. I like them, the paint on the '05 Mustang is great!

I like the tC rims on the Lancer. And lower the rear a bit. That would look awesome, IMO.

For the 'Stang - good color, but the paint looks a little thick in some spots, and the masking has some minor errors.

Nice cars! Just some minor things could be touched up, IMO. :D

it has been sold becuz of issues with my xmods and their needs for alloy, it was sold on ebay and i got 47 bucks for it, which was great. the upgrades were a never ending list, and it was fast (hense, projekt steamroller). i loved that truck and i do have another blue f-150 body, just like this one started, and i will have another build thread, becuz alot more is going to go itno the sequel than wat went into the real thing. some mods i have planned for projekt steamroller: the sequel, are as follows...

My favorite is the Lancer the only thing it needs is some spacers in the rear to get the wheels out a little farther. And that 05 mustang is definatly your best paint yet not sure about the color but the paint job is pretty good.

yes, i was very impressed with the paint job on the 06, it was great, however there are a few spots, and i took off the wide body last night so the wheels didnt looks so inward.

I like the Chargespeed BK more than the widebody. ;) But yours still looks good!

Nice paint on the 'Stang - do you have a BK for it? I'd put on some different bumpers, and paint the rims black.

The trim above the wheel wells looks a little rough, too.

this car was my old drifter and it had alot of blemishes on it as well as knicks from tables, chairs, etc. so i though it would look better like the rarer blue z and i did a really great job on this car, imo. donzii, thanks. yes i have had a few bad paint jobs becuz of temp. outside and bad paint, but xmodsificztioner, most of ur cars look like crap imo. seriously, that project that u made that scion ricer, as a joke i know, but it looked really junky, and i didnt bash it, i said very creative. now, you have bashed my cars, but i think they look good and theyre m cars and i can do watever the hell i want with them and theres not a thing you can do about it. if you have nothing nice to say, please dont post here. i have had some good paint jobs 2, like my 2006 mustang, my first steamroller project, and my scion that was red, then gun metal, also my z that i just got done with that looks excellent in real life. pics cannot do justice as far as being judgemental. so take into effect that ALL cars look better in person.

The blue and black Z is your best paintjob. There is some orange peel on the bodykit, but this time of year with the humidity its hard not to get that. The masking is great. With a little bit of wet sanding it can be a really good paintjob.

You're deffinately getting better. You should think about sanding down some of the old paint jobs and reworking them. Focus on the prep work, without a good start you can't finish well.

you can actually work out those blelmishes with a filler primer...spray it down thick, then hit it with some 800 grit, repeat til you get it smooth. you should see the messed up bodies i have to fix.
