Ehh, I dont think so, I mean, You can, But that also puts you in risk of ruining it, by like cutting into the body, Id just do it the old fashion way.

No, its for questions/suggestions, etc... its for the forum not xmods. This should have gone in modification or appearance.

It is the wrong section because this isn't a question about the forum or site itself.

Just sand the body with sand paper, if you're afraid to lose detail then get finer sand paper like 600-800 grit. There's really no easy way to sand, it all takes time and patience. If you want the easy way out then pay someone to sand and paint the xmod for you.

the easiest way to sand down an xmod in my opinion is to get 600 grit wetsand paper and sand it with some water, i don't see how it can get any easier? it's sanding a 1/28 car.

Yeah, for reals.
What I did with my Firebird is I took some 500 grit(I think:lol: ) paper, and wetsanded the whole thing.
I'd sand the body, then have the sandpaper wet, then I would sand off the rest of the marks I found....

Also, sanding under a sink helped me when I was wetsanding, I would sand and have water on the body.

lol you might think sanding a scion is bad ill send you a NSX and you can have fun with that bad bow and see how fast you want to give up on it lol.
you can even ask bondo how bad a NSX is lol. but yeah i say just stay with the old way and use like 400 grit and go to 1000 or 2000.

In order of grits (Numbers are approximate, use what is close): 400, 800, 1000, 1500, 2000. Then mask, prime, and paint.

Ducroix, a sandblaster would definitely work if you're trying to make your body look like swiss cheese.
