we need to know what u r going to buy if its a 2 door you could cut just behind the doors and take a section out of it.

but what Im going to use is a 1/28 scale slot car body as long as the wheel base is the same i can use it u can get them any where and they are lexan plastic or polystyrean and wont crack or break easly eather and there about 15 bucks Canadian.

The 1/24th and 1/25th cars won't look right on an XMOD IMHO, best to find a 1/32 scale car if you're going that route. I have been told that there's another 1/28th scale mini R/C with more body styles that could be adopted. I'm in the process of designing a few clear vacuformed cars in 1/28th scale but attachment hasn't been determined. The first to be released will be a '04 Focus WRC, then a Subaru WRX. Expect certain guys to get them sometime this spring.

Don't bother with the WRX, as xmods in Japan already have them, and there's a Focus Mini-Z.

The bodies that come with the 1:32 Tamiya Mini 4WD cars are great looking, the thing is, their wheel wells are huge!! If you want pics just ask
