fets won't do nothing, make sure the positive and negitive wire are not touching in any places ok.

Are you sure the you didn't solder the wires backwards? Otherwise you might have a bad battery holder or batteries.

the only thing I can think of know are bad battery holder. I go to RS and get a new one(94 cents) and so its not bad for my board to have 6 cell?

just don't run it for long times ok. or it will heat up your fets.

And make sure you have the same batteries in it. ( same mah and same voltage)
Dont mix alkaline with nimh.

how did you hook your added battery holder on to your stock battery holder? you need to solder the red wire on your 2 cell holder to the black wire side of your stock 4 cell holder...and use the black wire coming off of your 2 cell holder to go to black wire side of the board.

Yeah, you can't solder the wires directly to the board, you must splice the 2S holder wires into the - wire off the board to the batt pack.:)
Liek what SS said.

So like ss and blt said but in more detail... you basically hooked up 4 batteries equaling 4.8 volts in parallel with 2 batteries equaling 2.4 volts. The 4 are trying to discharge into the 2 which is causing your heat problem (i cant believe you havent had a fire yet). If you need more help figuring out the 6 cell mod let us know.

Don't need it with the car's body on. Tuck the batteries as low as you can, and take turns easier.

You can also go with a harder set of tires, if need be. Allows for more slip, as opposed to softer tires reaching their max grip, and then rolling the car over.

the only problem is I dont have a truck body.

my h2 was doing the came, somebody suggested that i put pinecar weights on it, which is a good idea, most craft/hobbyshops have pinecars around the models, you can find the weights there

yeah, but why would you want a 6-cell if your just going to weigh it down? I think I'll just get really big tires. I'm going to turn it into a crawler Anyway. At this point I have 6-cell upgrade, offroad kit on it, awd, had bearings till I put em on scion, and came with s2 but switched it to s1. bought it for 5 dollars from the guys at ratshack. they said they used it for demos. The only thing wrong was it needed the chassis(only the plastic that the board is screwed on. (that only costed 2.00)
