I was just wonering if any one knew wat the purpose for sodering motor wires directly to the elcctronic bord:-?

better power flow. When you screw the tabs on like you normally do you lose power, with a direct connect there is a better flow. I have done it on all of my xmods.

ok so its just for beter flow

thats good cuz evo motor wires are hard to get a hold of

Well, Xmodificationer pretty much said it.

When you solder the wires directly to the board, there is less resistance, since the bats or connectors(evo or gen1), there is "lag"(resistance.)

This takes away power, and when you have a top-of-the-line car, with a hot motor and lithiums, you want to do that.
It's not going to drastically make a change if your car is running the stock 4S setup, and a stock motor, don't bother.

but im thinking of donig it with a custom built motor if i ever get one built

Depends on how many winds there are on the motor man...
If it's aorund 40-45, then I would say it won't matter, it won't harm anything.
Anything under 40t, I would think that there would be a difference..

Nah, it isn't worth it.
It does keep the tabs not touching, but it will help prevent shortages w/ the board cover on, if the wires are nice and secure to the pads.
It will do that, no speed gain.:bigwink:
