Honestly, you need to be a little more specific.

Are you looking for on-road or off-road? 2wd or 4wd? What scale are looking for? Are you looking for a RTR or a kit? What kind of driving do you plan on doing?

Any additional information you give will allow people to give you better advice.

sorry about that i plan on drifting with it. as for scale i dont really have a preference on that. i want 4wd because its better to drift with and RTR or a kit either way.

you can drift with just about any car as long as its 4wd
all you have to do is just buy the tires for example pvc tires or abs tires

Not exactly true. Any brands specifically are you looking into? HPI Racing has the Micro RS4 which is 1/18 scale *bigger than XMODS* They also have the Micro RS4 Drift which comes RTD and RTR or Kit *RTD=Ready to drift;)*

Traxxas 4-tec, they are great for beginners. It depends on if you want belt drivin or shaft drivin. imo shaft drivin are the best.

Have you thought about the HPI E10?

Shaft drive is better for someone just starting out... There's less stuff for them to screw up, theoretically belt drive has the overall advantage, racing or bashing, minus the maintenance. In the end, its still driver preference. I prefer belt, but some may be lazy or prefer the instant spool up of a shaft driven car. Belts offer a smoother power delivery, as well as having a freer drive train than a shaft car.

I would suggest a Tamiya TT-01D XB (Xpert Built) RTR. Remember, the TT-01D! Not the regular TT-01. It's cheaper to drift in something that's already made to drift.

You can, of course buy PVC pipe at Home Depot and make drift tires, as PVC pipe is usually used for beginner/non-competition drifters.
