If you have touched your antenna on the TX to the antenna on the truck, you fried the range inductors.
I would buy a replacement board, I'm still trying to figure out what value the EVO resistors are, I fired 3 cars in 1 week, then sold 6 cars with fried inductors...

Edit: I seemed to have mis-understood a post and worded this one wrong.

Anyways, my Titan chassis seems to have an odd problem.

When the truck gets about 15 ft or so away, it sputters. It goes, quits, goes, quits, and it does it rapidly. And then as it gets a little closer, it has no problems.

Could the problem lie in the crystals maybe? The one that's in it went in a little rough, and when I pulled it out of another one of my cars, it bent a prong slightly but I bent it back without breaking it.

This might explain why my Titan chassis doesn't seem to have as far of a range.

I don't run it with a body and with as high as it sits it rolls over easily. I bet the antenna touched the motor..

The board has to be replaced to fix that? Seems a bit complicated, but it might be worth taking a stab at when I am feeling like a challenge.

Yes, you need to replace the whole board.
Just unsolder the wires, mark where they go, and solder in the new one.

Ah, maybe I didn't mis-understand it then?

I did edit my post though, any thought as to the trucks problems? Think it could still be the board?

I bend the prongs all the time!
Nah, but I bet the inductors are damaged= affected range= need of a new board.

Sounds like alot of fun..

Where can I get a new board for a good price? Or would I be better off finding an EVO chassis for parts and using the board out of it?
