we range from 16-31. Lacey who is my gf is 16, she has the blue 02 wrx wagon. chip who is 17 yr old (18 in less than a month) who drives the red legacy wagon, then we jump to mostly 20-23 yr olds.

Chilo is our oldest at 31 (crouched down right by me, 3rd person from the left) and then mark is our second oldest at 26, Tall guy in the back with the dark glasses.

well then we have chips mom... she is like 50.. shes pretty cool and is tech joined up with us... but she never does anything with us, just drives around in her 07 2.5 Limited ed. with SPR stickers in the windows lol. so she doesnt really count.

no, if you look he was pulled over in that pull off (you can see his tire tracks in teh fresh wet gravel). he let all the faster cars go because they wanted to rally the corners pretty hard and his car is about half as fast as the STi's lol.

were in the process of building him a ej22 turbo motor right now. and swaping it into his car with a 5 spd. when we get that done, that will be one seriously quick wagon.

this is his wagon when it actually looks nice lol... today it was about the worst looking car in our group haha.

he use to rally it and so it got really beat up and wrecked. so most of his money has been going to fixing all the dings and paint.. and **** like this...

its still not perfect but its getting there, the out side looks tons better than it did, but its not perfect yet. a lot to come in the near future like

wrx side skirts, custom hood with a wrx scoop (preparing for the turbo motor) coil over suspension with some new gun metal wheels, since he no longer has the motegis, OEM spoiler, new JDM grill, jdm tail lights and 1 piece projector head lights, with jdm fogs, and a couple new front end body parts to fix some more dints and dings... then a new paint job. (same red)

the rest of his time has gone into the custom interior...
custom red sued door cards, black wrx carpet (that was a ***** to install) black leather racing buckets with custom mounts, cleaned the dash and everything up. he covered the glvoe box in sued too which i think is kinda dumb... but he likes it. and the stock 6disc changer out of my STi. just gotta work on the back seat and back carpet and get them black and the interior is done.. it looks pretty good now though.

yes its a forester... and its very fitting, foresters are freaking awesome.. in my book anyway..

first off its a chicks car.. she has a kid. so its a great mommys wagon. second she just bought it yesturday... so its brand new, bone stock... third, wait till she fixes it up...

this isnt ours... but its a great example of what a forester can be...

this thing is 100% sti swapped... gauges.. interior, motor tranny drivetrain, wheels brakes suspesion, everything. its 100% sti in a forester shell... its effin sick!!

i think she said she ran a 12.86 in the quarter... sti's run around a 13.6 bone stock with an average driver..

she makes 301 hp, 349 tq. i dunno how much it weighs over an sti.. but i think it should be pulling faster than 12.86's with a little better drive, maybe a better launch.

a little information for you none suby people...

finding a 95-99 legacy in an manual is nearly impossible. they just dont make em. so you dont get much choice, autos are about it.

he hates. it but drives what he can... like i said, when we finish his motor, it will get a 5spd swap with the new turbo motor swap.

and if u wanna get technical... its not an outback... just a legacy wagon... the outback is a whole nother version. but i knew what ya ment ;)

As per Legacy Wagon, my law teacher actually has a green/grayish-goldish two-tone in manual. Its pretty sweet. He's got a roof box, bike hitch, etc. He's such an outdoors-y guy!

so the day started out with a smooth rally in the mt. hood national forest. goal was to leave hood river oregon, and end up at timerberline lodge taking the back roads...

and then our rally came to an end... or so we thought. the forest service dug some run off channles so the water would run off down the hill and not wash out the road.... well some of them get pretty narley...

anyway so we made it to Timberline... we got out to take a break for a while. locked the cars up because we were walking away from them... get back to the cars to head home. chips key breaks off in his door. his spare key is at home... 2 hours away..

so we all pile in jasons sti and drive down the hill, the pavement, the fast way lol. get the spare then all the way back up... finally get into chips car. and head home. jason took off way before chip and i because we were going to screw around for a bit, and he wanted to get home. well i guess when he got to town, he ended up with a flat tire haha. our day just kept getting worse... so finally chip and i head for home...


so long story short... we broke a wheel stud on the legacy and didnt know it... so on our way down the paved hill going 75 mph we started getting this vibration... since we had just replaced the alxe the day before we were guessing it was something about the axle maybe... thought it had popped out or something cuz the sound sorta sounded like it was just popping. then pretty soon we see a wheel flying in the air about 10 feet and the rotor grinding on the ground... so as we skid on the rotor like 200 feet and watch the wheel roll off into the ditch we pull over the best we can lol.

guess what.. NO CELL PHONE SERVICE!! freakin awesome!!! after a hike and hving to stand in the MIDDLE of the road we got 1 bar of service... was able to call a tow truck...

3 hours later waiting for a tow truck it arived, in the mean time we had some friends come pick us up that lived somewhat close by, went to their house and got drunk and passed out.

trust me... i know subarus better than anyone... specially my own teams subys that i work on constantly. that is a 12.5 second stage 2 subaru sti. it has been wrx swapped out though for a more "sleeper" look. wrx seats and carpet and door panels, wrx steering wheel, wrx wing, and the STI logo was taken off the intercooler to look more like the wrx intercooler. the cals are now painted red to look like wrx cals. only way you can really tell its still an sti is the bbs's which, a wrx could easily have.

so yes, very easy to think its a wrx.. but no. its a ballsy sti.

Hm...? The viper is a frickin' brick. It's slow in the beginning, and in the 1/8th mile, some cars are fast. I'm sure the Subbies with their AWD and smaller Turbo's are quick off the line.

we were on a back road out having some fun, and turned onto a new road that was freshly "paved". there pave job consisted of putting oil on the road and throwing gravel on it. extremely slick... and it looked just like the road we came off of which was extremly sticky... so not really paying attention hit that slick **** and lost it right into the ditch coming off the corner.


davids has the potential to be extremely quick... but we cant for sure tell. because he keeps breaking his 5 spd tranny every time he begins to make a little bit of power... soon as he gets the sti 6 spd tranny which is bullet proof, were aiming for 400 whp...

and vipers are NOT fast. they are freaking turds.

like he said.. they are bricks, they are slow all around... they do have a pretty high top speed but it takes em quite a while to get there. for the price you pay for them, they are slow. while yes our cars are blistering fast in teh 1/8 with 60 ft times of 1.4's to 1.8's thanks to the awd launches, our turbos are not that small, they keep us afloat on the 1/4 too. so while the viper has a very hard time in the 1/8th mile by the 1/4 it is catching back up... but still cant catch david. not that viper anyway. now a newer one thats making 5-600 hp... yeah they can catch him in the 1/4. they are also making twice the HP. and have a price tag of about 3 tiems as much...

oh yeah... and from a 120 to 160 mph pull, my sti beat a 95 r/t viper.

That's because Dodge has a hard time doing things right, lol.. Even a base C6 Corvette can easily keep pace with the last SRT10. They had to bump that thing another 100hp to keep pace again with the Z06. And their left in the dust with the ZR1

well you have to see that doge is like hey why dont we make something that looks good to the eye and have alot of power with no ability to use it.

the new c6 has broke a 10 second pass bone stock on the 1/4 mile. id be afraid of the zr1 lmao. well only for about 2 minutes, then id be hooked haha. but vipers are pretty much worthless, it takes sooo much to make them fast... and most the time that modification is ditching the dodge parts and pretty muching redesigning the car from scratch.

i mean****, worlds fastest viper is running like 8.9's with a v10 twin turbo... hmm pretty sad a 2.0L 4 cyl evo can run a 9.4 and is going to be n the 8.9s very soon...

Extremely nice car love all subarus... on the corvette thing my dad borrowed his bosses 06 corvette,the thing was fast as hell, the car was never driven and onlt had like 4k miles so he let us borrow it for a week or 2. so we decided to see how fast it was... well lets say my dad acts like a little kid when he drives over 100mph... he giggles like a little girl. so needless to say we had to stop at 165 because he was laughing uncontrollably like he was baked. well on the way back coming down to like 110mph we got like 3 offers for a race... we said no because there was a police checkpoint ahead but it was awesome.

think what you want. i fixed it, i know what i replaced, i know what was wrong with it. that car was ****ed including the axle. it had to of had problems before hand i didnt know about cuz dropping down onto the ground doesnt cause as much damage as it did.

4k for a 5spd is about an average deal, anywhere from 4-6k i can find them for on craigslist. but i can find twice as many autos for 2-4k. when i browse i find about 1-2 5spds to the 40 or 50 autos listed. right now is the most 5spds ive ever seen looking, that kinda blows my mind. either way since your throwing a fit over my choice in words, let me rephrase it. uncommon. since rare is to strong of a word for you.

im 20. yes my mommy bought me my first car for like 7grand. whooo hoo. yes it was a 1986 corvette. the car was older than i was! big whoop. they are worthless cars now days. my old vette is for sale right now for like 4995 down teh street from my shop lol.

sold it and put the money towards a 2000 frontier. nothing special or fancy. was 13k. whooo hoo, by then i was working my *** off and paying for it my self, all my mom helped with was financing. because i didnt have any credit to finance.

then when i had credit i traded it in on my 05 frontier, yes a $30k truck. but guess what, i work my *** off. no mommy helping me on that one! and unlike you i dont pay cash for my cars cuz im not rich, i gotta finance **** for the next 6 years.

got bored and yes traded it in on a sti, got a really good deal for 29k but with my negative equity from my recently purchased truck i ended up paying about 33k.

and i bought a ****ty toyota 4runner for 3500.... and put a lot of time and work into it... so what? atleast i have that talent that you wish you had lol.


bone stock a sti is governed at 155 mph. with engine management you can tune and adjust that and set the rev limiter high, thus letting you go faster... to make the car out at around 170ish. you "evo" could probably do the same im sure.. im not sure about the gearing in them, but i doubt they would have trouble hitting the same speeds.

and before 08 stis are even here? are you an idiot. 08 sti's have been out since febuary on dealerships all over the US. they were out and sold to special people like jeff perrin before that. just because i live in a small town and my dealership sucks ***, and i had to order mine so i got the one i wanted and i dont get it untill may. big whoop. in may you will see.

Lowrideit, your know-nothingness of the cars your talking about is showing again. The 80s Vettes are DIRT CHEAP, the lovely mailese era (emissions era) make these some pretty cheap vettes. They were terribly anemic thanks to the gov't regulations at the time, and aren't wanted by many performance enthusiast. Of course... the Chevy Small block can be easily built mean.

LT1s are cheap to find as well. Corvette engine, later put into the big ol' Impalas and other of GM RWD sedans at the time. Could be had in the GTA Firebird as well IIRC. LT1 swap, fabrication would cost more then parts if you gave it to a shop. But, SPR seems pretty handy at building legos and stuff, sure he figured out how to drop that in.

08 STi's have been out for a few months little one. Get with the times. I'm all for old school muscle, and even I know they have been out.. WOWZERS!!

He got it through family, but buying a 1st gen Camaro shell isn't a huge expense either. I can craigslist a few good running 67-69 Camaros for under 10k during the summer. Shelled out cars, in the 4-5k range. Not far out of reach.

And Civics are just plain cheap :lol: No arguement there.

if the rotor and axle were damaged, it had nothing to do with the wheel falling off, I've had numerous wheels fall off, couple even at freeway speeds. the more I look at that picture, the more obvious it is that even as the car came to a stop, the rotor was not holding the bulk of the weight, if it was even touching the ground.


pretty easy to tell the difference between 100 and 114.3 in person when you've looked at 'em enough. especially when compared to the BBS center caps.

like I said, sure looks like 114 in the picture. but it's a computer picture, I take you're word for it.

your correct, but its nothing fancy yet. owner (black shirt) was just showing milo (brown shirt) something. not sure what, not really checking it out, just pointing something out.

started out a 93, fwd, 1.8L, auto, messed up front end. he got a 99 donar car for free that had been rear ended and had some major body damage. so we took one saturday to strip it, and swap in the 2.2L motor, 5spd tranny, awd drivetrain, 99 dash, complete wiring harness, front end and all that good stuff into the 93 shell. bring it up to par a little bit... Then Put on the 2.5rs front bumper, and the 2.5rs hood. new head lights, wrx seats front and rear, wrx carpet, wrx center consle, and a wagon headliner (cut down of course) now he is waiting to finish the interior (door panels), get some of the door wiring harness he didnt have so he can have power windows and locks. he needs a couple more body parts like new front fenders, a spoiler and then i think it will be paint it next. after it gets painted, he will worry about turboing and making it quick. for now, he is just happy to be back into a awd 5spd suby. heres a few more pics unfortunatley i dont have many.

before. (hood was replaced already because the stock one was dented to **** from the front end wreck.) and no the hood wouldnt latch lol. it gets strapped down.

and sorry my car didnt make it, i blew it to pieces, its in teh shop right now.. and i didnt get the girlfriends wrx put back together in time from the brake job... so we ended up riding along in the 2 bug eye wrx's on our team. so hope you wernt getting excited for my sti hahaha.

it wasnt a subaru drive. it was mostly hondas toyotas and nissans there. it was made up of like 4 different car clubs, and a few other random people that are not part of any teams. there was maybe 6 other subarus besides our club.

yeah he supposely has almost 400 awhp... but i HIGHLY doubt it. i think he is just blowin smoke. not gonna make that on a vf39 turbo and 800cc injectors. if he really even has those. all i noticed was a hack job on the intercooler, a ****ty bov that was killing his car at idle and that k&n intake... i think he is full of ****.
