Hey fellas, TheXmodifyer here.
Well, since i havent sen a project goin here for ten-thousand years :p I decided I may as well post my current project. Alot of you may know by now that I love the General Lee and I've been dyin' to get my hands on a General Model. So for christmas i open up a small-ish box and what is it? Yes, its a general lee. So about a wek after Christmas i started in on the general. When i got the chassis ready that id be using, and the body and the body parts all out, i realized ow hard this project will be. The charger body is LONGER than the F-150's chassis! so i started in on the chassis. The chassis' done and now I've been perfecting the body. Heres some current pics,

Hey I got that General! I've had the kit for years now and have never done anything with it. If you want it it yours just pay shipping.

BTW you do know its NOT the correct car. Thats is the NASCAR version of the Charger, note the rear window is flush with the "C" pillar or 1/4 panel if you prefer. The original General Lee was just a plain Charger and had the rear window that was almost vertical and the "C" pillar went out past it. The nascar version was built differently to improve rear end down force.

WOW! Thanks guys! Didnt expect this many replies. No the Body is NOT metal i can prove that. I did notice that this body is the nascar version. I was looking at the back window and immediately noticed that it was inline with the quarter panels and not set-in. Thanks for all your comments! More pics soon!

Um, it only had one, It was the rebel flag on top. And if im not mistaken I think they had a flag on a license plate on the front bumper, or was that Boss Hogs cadilac?

NOPE! The ORIGINAL General Lee from the original series that was used in the first 6 episodes had 3 flags on it. The large Confederate battle flag on the roof AND directly behind the rear window, in front on the cb antenia was a set of crossed flags, one was a checkered flag the other was another Confederate battle flag. I'll see if I can find some pics for you guys. I'm old enough to remeber when it was out as a new show, came on at 8pm friday nights.

Heres a pic after its restoration....

Yeah, I had to take a double take on that. What you have there is the 69 Charger 500. The General was a 69 Charger r/t. Besides that slight error, its beautiful! Keep up the good work!
