What nobody is watching the auction this year?? I figured that someone would have started a thread about it already.

Anyway, TOP SELLER for today was a 1937 Pontiac Business Coupe that went for $68k.

What about that Chevvelle SS Hard top, What was it a 572 motor, numbers matching and all, I watched it last night,
And that Shelby Cobra, Man he messed up, He could have gotten atleast 100 Grand if He would have had a manual Transmisson like they were saying...:nodno:

Those cars are from the 2007 auction which was replayed last week on SPEED.

Last night was the first night of 6 that SPEED will be airing this year.

The Chevelle went for $67k and was tied with 2 other cars for second place high seller last night. but those numbers will look like childs play by the end of Sat night when the high dollar cars come out.

How can you be annoyed by them? Do you realize how much work it takes to be a good auctioneer let alone a great one like Spanky Assiter? They practice continually everyday even when they are not working to hone their craft.(and yes it is a craft) and takes a lot of talent to be able to do that.

New highest is 1.6 mill, a classic Corvette Concept I belive.

#1 Mustang KR, measly 650k or so after fees

#1 Corvette ZR1, well over a million after fees.

Now, just waiting on the Challenger to hit the block.
