Well, she isn't mine for about 2 more years, but I get to do whatever I want to until then. ;)

1989 Chevy Silverado, Maroon/Red, a few dents. Dad got this brand new way back when, and we still have it, and it currently still runs. Dad talks like its gonna die soon or something though. The battery is going bad, gotta get a new one. It does dead every three weeks or so, but it only gets started twice a week at most.

Anyway, pics.

Got any pictures of the whole truck?

Looks in really good shape though. We used a similar year GMC Sierra to tow the Chevy home :)

We'll just see about that when I get some more pics tomoro... :p
Its not that bad of shape actually, just a few dents, on slightly large one on the driver door. runs great though

the body looks good and clean
Thanks

What are your plans for it?
Uhm, not really any 'plans' except to re-install the sound system.
Since I am just a Freshman in high school.
When I actually get my liscense, gas is gonna be a *****!

Bah... That's only plastic! You can replace that! ;)

As for your battery being drained so quickly, check your alternator to see if its still working/cranking out acceptable power.

Great looking truck! I'd love a '95 (with the single-piece headlights) extended cab with the same color scheme... Would prefer gray interior though... Otherwise, sweet truck you've got there!

EDIT: My bad, thought it was plastic... Probably from my experience with Mopars... But yeah, it shouldn't be too hard to find a replacement door at the wreckers.

Whats plastic? The part that is crunched in isnt plastic. Did you mean the black part with 1500 on it? The metal below it crunched.
Also, it was battery, dad changed it like 2 days after i posted this thread, no problems yet.

Who said I was gonna paint it?
I would love to paint it pearl white though, And keep the red interior. I just love any kind of car with red interior and white exterior.
