Yeah he took off before I got the chance. Since I run the meet, I'm takin pics inbetween doin a bunch of other stuff...so yeah. A lot of cars pass through that I didn't get a chance to take pics of, including a new Z06 and an old MINT condition Corvette Stingray.

It may be a ways from you but definitely try and come out one Friday. Just make sure you cruise and don't speed down Nasa Rd 1. And don't rev at all what so ever. I have to write down license plates for everyone who revs excessively...otherwise i can't hold the meet there...lol.

Your in the Woodlands right? Man, if you make it, I can make it one day. Don't have to worry about speeding too much in the CST/10.. Speed in that, and you can WATCH the gas gauge go down :lol: But... won't need to rev to hear this truck. :)

No the woodlands is about an hour away from me. I'm in SE houston...in Clear Lake. I'm halfway between Galveston and Downtown.

Otherwise, good shots.
What you should do, is afterwards, go on a drive with everyone around the city. Not racing or anything illegal, but like a little parade.

@Redisfaster, the guy with the red 240 put that bumper on because he actually drifts his car and he didn't want to go bumper less. So he put on his stock bumper...which obviously doesn't fit.

It's not quite correct, but the Camaro guys call that a Berger panel.

Basically, it's a piece of history from the old Berger Camaros. It's supposed to be flat black, and have a Z28 emblem on it..

That's a real Berger panel, I think the other guy was just shooting for something similar, but he didn't want to do all of the work.

But, 260+hp with 350+ ft lb of torque, truck weighs right around 5000lbs, and is as aerodynamic as a brick.

But the only thing that limits topspeed is horse power, aerodynamics, and my balls. Amen to the pushrods and carbs, the truck is not limited by the Man! :lol:

And the bed is 8 feet long, and 5.5 feet wide. I can fit a few cars in there, lol.

I have a meet kinda like this, in a parking lot directly adjacent to my building (i recently moved form west van to burnaby in BC.)

So this friday was the first time i was able to go out to it, and it is in the parking lot of a bowling alley. It gets crazy though, people burning out, reving up smoking ETC. i took our range out there and nearly got into a scrap with a bunch of thieves, trying to pop the lettering and ETC off the car without me noticing...

It was crazy but fun... And i think that this was the thing that finally caused me to take the Range to be "tweaked". ill post pics soon...

As soon as I get a few more stickers, you're not keeping up!

You might able to take half of those cars on the strip, but not on the track. Mine wouldn't be a bad condender on the track either. Light, good turning, rev-happy. Basis for the perfect racer.

CRXs are perfect for the track. That white one with the bronze rims in one of my pics does auto cross.

Autocross is usually a event sanctioned by your local SCCA. They take a parking lot for instance, and mark out a course with cones. Then you go, and race. It's a time race, with one car at a time, or cars placed several seconds apart.

When I can, I'll be taking the Slowbird down so I can drive the **** out of it on something other then skinny-country-back roads with 3 foot ditches on either side.

Sweed, name a course 1st. If it's something with more straights then corners, I got ya! :lol::lol::roll::p
