the decals were a one shot deal. my brother got this nascar r/c car that happen to be on the 1/24 scale, and it came with 2 sets of numbers, 76 and 56, i took the 56, and i loved how they looked on my truck. but when my brother raced me, of course i killed his stock barricade, but he hit me and sent my truck in to an uncontrollable fury, as stated in first post. im pretty bumed that i have to start all ove, but i am doing a rock crawler, painted black.

Haha, if I were you, I'd step on Firebird's barricade. Thats some carnage. How cold is it. Yesterday is was 5 degrees farenhieght. Today it was 39. It felt much much warmer. I like the color. I think you should keep the BK silver, it looks good!

Projekt Steam Roller is back, and i cant wait to get it started again, its gonna be great! ok, well, here is the whole story!

ok, well, it all started out as a blue f-150 body top and kit i picked up at radio shack a while back, and put it on my chassis. i wasnt satisfied with how plain it looked, so i decided to paint it a meatallic color, i chose automotive silver, and i painted it. it looked great, but then i crashed it. i had some awesome nascar decals on it, but they got destroyed after my brother with his stupid barricade decided to hit me, which sent my steamroller into a crazy flip rage which made it completely uncontrollable. after i took pics of the damage, i no longer habve them, sorry, but i decied to paint it, again. i painted it gloss balck, which turned out ok, but i wasnt satisafied either, it looked too plain. so i decied to make it my beater body, and well, last night, i was looking at it sitting on my shelf, so i took it down and put new bk parts on it, completely stock bk right now, but it looks better. i sanded the whole thing last night to get all the nicks and everything out and i did, so it looks better than it did. heres is pics.

when i got it.

most of it is getting sold on ebay, i just got 50 bucks for my projekt steamroller, so all the other cars are getting sold except my 65 and new civic.

I thought you sold this? Are you fixing it for the person because they realized it isn't worth 50 bucks as-is? Or is it more smoke and mirrors?

well, im not sure what you are getting at. i sold one of my f-150's on ebay a little while ago and got 42 bucks plus 7 bucks shipping, made good money off of it. this is the same original projekt steamroller body, and i changed the parts that i had from the old paint job. (the silver paint job, just different bk.)

either black or blue

where'd you say the picture was?

do you just use spray paint...like me, or do you use some model/hobby, stuff...sprayed or brush(is brush painting possible for this stuff?)

Lancer_Man

It's a good color, just thick, like everyone else has said.

Not the worst it could be, but lighter coats will definitely help next time around.

fordman239
03-07-2008, 06:16 AM
guys, its really not that thick of paint, i used a rattle can of dark red spray paint, the body lines, well, it has been sanded and painted at least 4 times, if not more, so the body lines are pretty much gone. thanks for the comments, im selling this body unofficailly so if anyone wants it... but yes, this is like the fourth paint job.
