Well since my Vette is totaled I decided to paint the Mustang. I painted it with a base of red and it fades to black in the rear. The paint isn't done yet, I ran out of black and am waiting to get more to touch up some spots and for the windows. Then I need some flat black for the grille and front fascia and a little more red for the side markers. Then It will be ready for clear and finally done! (Flat for grille after clear, of course)

Now here is the part I think is wickedly cool, I changed the headlights around a little and completely redid the taillights. Instead of 5mm bulbs in the headlights only I moved them to the fog lights as well.

(grille isn't done yet! both bulbs are running on 2mW here just to show what they look like, which means they are dimmed, not fully bright :p )
Here they are at full brightness (is that a word?)

And here are the taillights, all are 3mm diffused except for the CHMSL, That one is a 5mm ground down (using the dremel) to fit perfect and to dim it a little. It will only be visible when the brakes are on, like it should.

And the wiring is the best part. No wires at all to mess stuff up. I managed to use the leads only so now I just need one taillight wire (the other will be for under glow )

Well, What do you think so far?

Thanks everyone, The paint will look 100x better once its finished. The hood is pretty rough right now, it just needs wet sanded and a couple more coats. The body needs a couple more coats too but I ran out of black paint. I cant get one of it on the chassy right now but I will soon. I'm working on some red lights for neons under the car. They will go all around, not just on the sides like the RS kit. Once I have those lights where I want them Ill wire them all together and get a few on the chassy.

The lights aren't really that bright, They give plenty of light for night driving, but If you look them dead on, like in the second pic, they flash-blind you for a while. :p

The vette hit a wall at full speed at a 45 degree angle, cracked the body and I just decided to scrap it.

I know theres a couple speckles, Thats what you get for using a rattle can. A little paint gets in the lip and it all flies out when your doing the up down motion. I wet sanded those couple of spots out and I'm gonna try it again.

I really want an airbrush, But cant really afford it!

No, Im painting the windows last.

Edit:
It appears that I have lost the orange side markers off of the front bumper. Does anyone have a front bumper that they dont need anymore? I'm talking about these parts...
