Can't get it to back up

I am completely new at this but my stang goes fine forward but it wont back up the majority of the time I even had my husband look a it. When I put it into reverse the cone gear seams to slide over and jam. Please help if you can. Thanx for your time.

you cant back up like in reverse? You must have broke some piece in your motor check all your wires and make sure taht like ur motor isnt coming apart in any place

Yeah like reverse. I have had this problem since I took it out of the case. My hubby and I have both looked at it and the only thing thats loose or not working correctly is the rear cone gear when put into reverse it slides over and not turning it s like it disengages .

Im sorry but i have no idea what your problem is. Did you try a different motor?

is your drive shaft 2 far forward mine did that b4 and my driveshaft was loose

You know you need to hit it 2 times for it to back up
if you hit it once it is the brake.
