Pretty vague description... Exactly, what motor did you put in it? An RS upgrade motor? Or one you just took off a toy?

you probably have some major binding in the gears was it a display model?

edit:then you probably need new fets like you said, and if that dont work you have a bad board.

I can put both fets and new boards in. you got to come up with the board though to put in and the fets

Check you wire connections from the motor to the car.

which board do you think is good to put on

It will depend on what you want to do with this car mostly. only you can know what you need for it. I am going to upgrade my truck to at least 3x3 fets so it dont blow a fet with my 7.4 Li-Po and heli-maxx motor on it.

so for the fets can you put new ones on top of the stock fets on the stock board

yeah you can and it is a little easier too do it that way. make sure you read the tutorial on atomicmods before you undertake it yourself.

what tool do i need to put the fets on or do they just stick on top of the other

you need a soldering iron, .015 solder, and a pair of pliers to flaten out and bend the fet legs. atomicmods has a demostration on how to do it.
