I'm not sure how many wires the stock evo has (was it four or five?) for the servo, but you will need to figure out which wires go were, and figure how to mount it. If you figure a good way to mount it and still have a good tierod, let us know, we all want to know!

Oh, and check this thread, it may help you:

I wouldn't bother. Compared the the Gen1, the Evo's servo is a world of wonders. The effort, time, and money you spend trying to stick the HS-55 in the Evo would just be a waste.

If you have a Gen1 xmod, you can always check out Zero-Products' X-Frame Pro + Mod chassis kits and put together an xmod with full hobby grade electronics

red the reason i want to do it is the evo servo does not have anough torque for my truck and I have a hs-55 somewhere around my house. When I find the servo I will try to get it to work if it does I will do a tut

The EVO servo sucks. I'm sorry but it does. It doesn't have as much power as the gen1 servo, and an HS-55 would be an excellent edition. I threw a Futaba S3110 servo in my EVO, but decided to transfer it to my gen1, that didn't work as well...
