Pop-up headlight Prelude! The best 'lude followed by the generation after it (the one with the vents between the headlights!

Nice ride, bro!

Does that thing got VTAKK?! And have you experienced VTAKK KICKING IN YO?

that should be a good little car, and in my opinion, don't spend money on wheels and stereo stuff first. make the car a little faster first because trust me, it's no fun having a car that looks good but goes slow, you look like a tool every time. Plus the whole sleeper look is awesome. I would however suggest in getting some good rubber on those wheels, it makes driving a lot of fun.

I like the pop-up head lights... I wish those were still around, theres no reason not to. Most the time its "their unaerodynamic"... But, you shouldnt have to worry about that at night, right? You should be driving sanely

Yeah, I'd skip the stereo and wheels stuff. Put in a CAI. They're only around $150-250. Then save up another $300 and do cams for increased toque. And if you wanna go all-motor versus forced induction, go for headers.

But please, PLEASE do not rice it up! (Haha, Uncle Ben's slogan)

If you want cost effective aesthetics, lower the car (do it the cheap way, cut the springs until you can afford some nice coilovers).

Cutting springs, will cause you problems. Its not recommended, especially with such a light car.

Yeah, I know. But this is assuming that he's not going to cut off a stupid amount. Roughly 1-2 inches of the coil should drop it at a 'decent-respectable' level, but not as low as if it were properly done with quality coilovers.

If he does want to check out some budget lowering springs, I recommend INTRAX branded lowering springs.

Never hack off more than an inch of height off it, thats my rule. Its just thats such a light car, it would be easier to hit a point where the car doesnt have enough weight on the spring, and it pop out. Unless it has a coil over type suspension stock, then he maybe allright with a small cut.

yea....there's someone who works on alot of domestic cars.

honda's use coilovers, as do virtually all japanese cars....the springs aren't going anywhere.

i wouldn't cut springs no matter what setup i had, just get some lowering springs

an ok website to look for parts is autoanything.com just put in your cars info and you should find a lot of parts.

"problems".....well, the springs aren't going to fall out. might get some rubbing if you go too low.

buut....same crappy spring rates, same crappy shocks/struts. just lower ride height.

nice, reminds me of my dad's old accord. you should put a supercharger or turbo in it, racing suspension, brakes... things that are discreet... then drive it on the streets and "kill people off the line" make it fast, but do it discreetly. or you could just drive it around with hte sleepy eye look :D

Hey man! Don't promote street racing! You don't want his car getting confiscated and crushed! ;)

But out of all the cheap starter mods you could do, the sleepy-eye looks best!

Lowered and sleepy-eyed with no other performance or aesthetic mods = clean street cruiser!

If you could wire one pop up light, to go down at a flip of a switch, that would be sooo fun. Its -winking-. So, imagine after building it up some, taking a win, and then lettin the car -wink- at the other driver

Nice. I'm guessing that comes with the four wheel steering right?! I wouldn't mind driving a car with four wheel steering!

Apply some harder elbow grease when you washing it. Also it will look a little bit more appealing when wax is applied. :D

If you get some money saved up, get some simple things to it. A new battery, spark plugs, fuel filter, intake, wheels, some performance rubber, intake manifold and maybe a header. But if I were you, I wouldn't put too much money into and make it a turbo or juice it or anything. Yeah speed is alot and performance is a plus too, but unless you can find an area or a track where you can do some serious speeding and not hurt yourself or any one else. Then its not really worth it.
