G35 Basher, Scion tC BK, & my Transformers

[XMODification]

I had some spare time last night so I decide to paint up some old stuff that i had in my bag of "to-do's". They included my Scion tC Christain Rado body kit which I had done some work on over again - it just need to be painted, then there was my basher G35 which I experimented on by making a new body kit for (nothing special since it's a basher). I also had timeot open up my Transformers kits, ( finally!), I swapped the rims on BumbleBee for some new alloy rims & tires ( mini-z's modified to fit Xmods' d-hubs) and as for Barricade - I left it as is ( atleast for now ).

The tC's body kit is removable so I don't really have to worry about it if it gets wrecked y any chance, and the G35 is a basher ricer so looks aren't too important.

well **** man, I think it is one of (if not the best) G35's that ive seen. Im diggin the Scion's kit too. Not only can you modify immculate (sp?) trucks, but you can produce bada@# cars as well. Great job as always. You would make Rado proud if he seen that TC;)

Ah, in that case... How did you modify the Mini-Z's hubs to fit our D-hubs? And whats the name/product number on the wheels on Bumblebee? I've got quite a few Mini-Z oriented retailers over here who may have them in stock!

Thanks guys! These are just a few of the cars I got, I have more but 2 of them are out getting some custom paint jobs and the rest are at home - i'll probably get them out sometime to take some updated pics of them later.

where did you get the louvered hood for the G35? and I love the wheels on the bumblebee.

The louvered hood is custom made - it was a stock hood that i had cut before so I just used some putty and pieces of styrene to make it look that way. it was a rush type of job but it wasn't all bad looking in the end.

I got the Mini-z rims from AtomicMods - they're PN racing rims for mini-z. I used a dremel with a tiny sand bit to modify the hole so it could fit the d-shaft of the xmod. It'snot too hard but you have to be carefull when dealing with alloy and dremels - if you mess it up there's no way of fixing it.

The rims are from atomic mods, they have a nice selection there. As for the Scion bk - I did it before but it didn't look too good so I refined it alittle more. It was all done mainly with tamiya putty so it did take alittle while to get it shaped right.

LOL - I like chevy too Noturday, this is actually the the second xmod mustang (a Saleen and a 69) that I own - and i've only made one 2 other ford models before I think. As for the camaro - I have a few things in mind for it but I need ot get the body kit then i'll get to work on it. The Scion isn't much of my favorite one but I had to make something for it anyways. As for the G35 I just got bored and made a few body mods with the extra G35 shell so it wasn't something that i made a thread for because it was a rough kinda thing that I did with it.:bigwink:

I just used stock bk's and then I custimzed it with tamiya quick type epoxy putty so that I could get the shape I wanted - it took some time to get everything smoothed out just right but it's still alot of work to deal with even for a quick job like the G35.:bigwink:

I just finished putting the Wild BodyKit on my tC and I was disappointed cuz it still looks weird, for shelf display, I took both the front and rear clips off, so the body sits low, it just looks weird how high the body sits. Your tC looks great. And I don't know why you call the G35 a basher, I think it looks awsome, much better than the BKs that Radio Shack put out for it. And the camaro looks 1000 times better with those wheels on it.

Good job with the Scion dude!! Makes me wish mine wasn't such an ugly piece of crap! You should do a side line business where you convert everyone else's Scion! Imagine how much money you would make because I don't know a single person who is happy with the look of their stock or upgraded Scion!

Thanks guys! I had bought 2 body kits for the scion because I wnated to make something different for it from the start. I don't like the wild kit too much and my fav. bk for it is the mild version. The Rado wide body is cool also - if it wasn't removable I would have probably done a way better job I guess. :bigwink:

I got them from Atomicmods but Xmodsinternational.com has alot of nice rims in stock - you should check them out.
